The client, a U.S. based digital payments company, wanted to launch and scale its India operations and needed PMO support for managing strategic partnerships with commercial banks, central banks, and government entities to enable compliant and accelerated market entry.
Client Mandate
We were engaged as Strategic Partners to:
- Formulate and implement the India go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy.
- Establish an Indian legal entity and set up on‑ground operations.
- Set up a Project Management Office (PMO) for India.
- Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, central and state regulators, and other government entities.
- Manage project workstreams and verticals across product, technology, compliance, and partnerships.
How we delivered
- GTM and Entity Setup – Defined the India business model and priority use cases, crafted a bank‑ready GTM strategy (value proposition, pricing, channels), and led entity incorporation, regulatory filings, and foundational compliance to enable launch.
- Regulatory and Banking Enablement – Coordinated with commercial banks, central banks, and key government entities to align on use cases, licensing requirements, and risk controls, unlocking sandbox / pilot environments and formal partnerships.
- Product and Integration Support– Supported mobile application roadmap, onboarding journeys, and transaction flows; managed integrations with banking partners, payment rails, and third‑party vendors to ensure a compliant and scalable tech stack.
- PMO and Stakeholder Management – Set up a central PMO for India, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies across workstreams, while driving structured governance with global leadership and local partners to keep execution on time and on strategy.
